    Predicting BI-RADS categories from Portuguese mammography reports. Duplicate reports are grouped so they cannot leak across folds, per class thresholds are tuned rather than left at the default, and a TF-IDF and LightGBM baseline is ensembled with transformer models.

    Extracting SDRF sample annotations from proteomics papers. The first pass reads the whole paper with the methods sections prioritised; the second pass checks every extracted value back against the source text, which is what stops the first pass inventing things.
